so long sweet summer

summer is over and i am actually pretty happy about that. i don't have the heart to live anywhere that doesn't experience seasonal change. ohio is best when it is a'changing. fall in ohio is gorgeous and full of smells and intense color, winter is beautiful and teaches us about quiet and stillness and at times madness from the gray sky, spring is so full of hope it is amazing, and summer is luscious and full of heat. it is woven into my dna to experience and cherish radical seasonal change and i doubt i could ever be all that satisfied without it. summer was full and i am ready for a crisp nip in the air. here's a look back at my summer

this is going to sound high maintenance but i wear two colors at once. one as the primary and one as a highlighter on the inner area. i swear it makes a lovely difference. the primary color is chili by mac.

How much do I love that these photos look like they hail from the summer of '78? Almost as much as I love this whole post. :-)

I agree about seasons. One has to have something to look forward to, don't they. Fall is my favorite.
