visions

for those who are not Christians or you belong to a denomination that does not believe in the more super natural giftings of the Holy Spirit (as i grew up believing), this entry will sound ridiculous, impossible, and probably laughable. but it matters not, i must talk about what happened to me yesterday. i had a prophetic vision! i was on my way to maggie's house and decided to swing by the apartment ive been leaning towards, since it is just two miles away (i tracked it yesterday actually). somehow i got turned around and instead of going the main road back, which would be cooke rd. i wound up on morse, which is the previous main drag. i make the turn onto morse and i see a black suv next to me whose license plate says "prov 3 5". mentally i say to myself how weird it is to see that suv again because i saw it the previous day in a totally different area of town. we get to a stop light and are sitting next to one another and are the only cars at the light. light turns green and we continue driving, slowly the black suv pulls ahead of me and when i look down it's license plate no longer says what i would swear on my children's precious lives it said just moments ago. instead it was just a standard issue ohio license plate!! i sort of stumbled into maggie's house bewildered and there was a bible sitting on her coffee table. here is what proverbs 3 has to say.

3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.

4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight

i am not very gifted with interpretation honestly, only of discerning when God is talking to me. it seems to me that God is encouraging david and i to go into the new chapter of our lives with confidence, but to remind us to always keep God first. david reminded me that often we arent told what things means until God wants to reveal them, so if i dont know what it means, it will come with time. either way WOW, a vision!!

That's amazing. I love knowing that I'm known and loved. Experiences like that are a great big hug from God.

That's awesome! God really does speak to us individually, that never ceases to amaze me. How he can love each one of us enough to give us our very own special attention and guidence. Can you imagine having billions of children and doing the same?! Anyway, what a great thing to happen to you.

I found your journal through Amanda (wifemamadoula) and I just want to say Thank You for sharing your faith. I am so very sorry about your loss. I have enjoyed your uplifting voice and I hope it's okay if I add your link to my blog and check in from time to time.

Best to you.
xo,
Callie
