today augustine is 3 1/2
what a delight this kid is. overflowing with imagination and spontaneous stories. one of the most noteworthy things that sticks out to me to mention is that he is always telling me stories as if he is growing backwards (which is oddly the plot a soon-to-be-released brad pitt movie the curious case of benjamin button). just today he told me a story about when he was 48 yrs old and went to neuschwanstein castle in germany. other times he'll tell me things like "one day im going to grow into a baby". i love it!

Oy! How does he know about that German Castle? What a smart boy. Oh, and my class and I made your pumpkin-chocolate chip muffins today. You made 6 autistic little boys very happy with that recipe. Thanks!
the castle was on tv and i said "oh uncle josh had a picture of that when he was young" he then said "oh! when i was 48 i went there!"
L O L !!
kids are just amazing creatures! Augustine always looks so "knowing" whenever you show pictures of videos.
yes! my daughter evelyn, she's finally got it that, "one day i'm going to grow into a woman, mom, like you!" and i say, "yes, exactly!" and then she'll say, "and you're going to grow into a girl, like me! you're going to grow little!"
it is very funny.
Hi Jenny :) Michelle R. has told me before that you did a lot of vaccine research for your children. We are trying to decide if there are any we want our son to get, and I was wondering, are there any you decided to give your kids? There are a few that we may get... but we haven't decided yet. We're still in the midst of all our research, but i wanted to hear what you think about the whole thing. :)
i think i feel inclined to give olive the chicken pox vaccine if she has not gotten chicken pox of her own accord. that one can negatively impact women in their reproduction if they contract it while pregnant. maybe meningitis when they are in school but we'll see. we so far have skipped everything.
