hop, hop, hop

our car is on the fritz and while most of my days are at home with the little sprouts being MADE to stay home is something different entirely. no errands can be run for a sack of apples from weilands, no books dropped off at the library, no quick jaunts to the mall to play at the playground, heck we weren't able to go to church today and i was on the baking team! thankfully jeremy slagle stopped by and picked up my muffins for me. love me some slagles. so yes the car is on the fritz. first the veggie oil system lines are clogged and they need tightening but darn it there is an inch of snow out there! can't ask my husband to stay out there too long. then the brake pads needed changed and then when he was changing those one of the calipers was kaput. im so so so grateful that my husband is so mechanically savvy. it has saved us thousands and thousands of dollars. anyways, im just being a grumpus about my first world problems today.

i just came in from helping david with the car and i put my snow boots on the register to dry off. 5-10 minutes later: what's that burning smell?!

& in other news. SNOW BUNNIES!

My car is not doing so hot, either.

I have to agree, the "hi" is just too cute!! I wasn't expecting it! And it's wonderful to see some snow and some rosey, wintery cheeks. :)

cuties in the snow! this weekend our little town blew in snow. and we, being suckers, paid $3 (per kid) to play in it. for 10 minutes. that's how bad we texans want snow.
