i got the lab results back today. the only thing that was not within normal range was my MCH (mean corpuscular hemoglobin). it wasn't even THAT high - 32.5, elevated is >31. without getting all hypochrodiac about this some light googling apparently indicates that this can be associated with something called macrocytic anemia (big blood cells basically). im kind of surprised as i feel i eat a pretty balanced diet, especially with things like B12, which is what the anemia is related to a deficiency in. i mean i eat eggs almost daily for breakfast and meat almost every day, certainly dairy. i've also heard that elevated MCH simply means you are fighting something off, which i have been by way of a little cold. anyways, we'll see what the doctor says when he calls.
on a positive note, i had a pretty great cholesterol and calcium reading!

I really enjoy getting blood levels checked too. I've heard too many stories of people becoming so ill with cancer and they found out only after they were ill, via blood test and it was too late...
Life just seems to be about maintenance of everything - teeth, skin, eyes, nails, grass, carpet, washing machine, children....hopefully it's all for something awesome after life...
